If there is a line that sums up this whole reading, i believe that this is it:
"Sketching is to an artist what shadow boxing is to a boxer, keyboard practice is to a concert pianist, practice is to a tennis player, or a participant in any sport (or endeavor)."
I havent sketched in years, not since early in high school from what i can recall. Its going to be hard getting back into it, but i do want to improve my skills, so i have to make it a habbit. I took the advice from this reading and now when i watch movies on my television, i sketch what i see. So far its kinda fun, a little frustrating, but fun.

You sketch very nicely. I still have a lot to learn about it. The people you sketched have a sense of reality to them, very nice.
